If you look, you’ll notice all the store’s names have a gothic ring to them, but that one in particular made me smile. James Simitarium" instead of some kind of hospital. Another thing that really caught my eye was the fact that the hospital is called the "St. You’ll have to zoom in to really appreciate it all. There is even a pretty little fountain hidden in there. It is full of buildings and you can actually wander the narrow alleys between them. The first thing you’ll probably see that looks different is Simagon Alley (does that happen to remind you of anything?). If you go looking around town, you will find a few things that I’ve never seen in a Sims game before. When you have to strain to see the screen (and yes, I have 20/20 vision) simply because it is too dark, it can be frustrating. At times, it is even going to seem like you are living under a red sun, which is quite creepy looking! While the ambiance is nice and fits in with the gothic theme, I personally find it a bit too dark to properly see what you’re doing at times. Most days, it is less than a few of hours. The town gets at most 8 hours of sunlight a day. As its name suggests, Midnight Hollow is more than a bit dark. I must admit I added more than a couple lots from Katy Perry’s Sweet Treats just because they were so incongruous with the town that it was amusing.

They left a great deal of room for various community lots, so you can customize the town as you wish without having to bulldoze down much if anything. The town of Midnight Hollow is relatively large and spread out. Easiest way is to go into world view and click "Purchase Property" when you click the lot.The Sims 3: Midnight Hollow is a new world for The Sims 3. After that, you will notice that you will start gaining money. In order to gain profit from this lot, you must own the lot, meaning you have to purchase it by computer/phone/etc. Most of the lots the store team used are designated as "Hangout" Spots, so please use any type of lot except for Visitors/No Visitors Allowed.Ģ. I will go over each object and try my best to put you on this step-by-step tutorial for building a shop using this particular object.Ī couple of things to note when you start with the lot first.ġ.

The door is only necessary if you want to set hours on when the door opens and closes.

*sigh*Īnyways, you will ONLY need the register or one of the rugs/pedestal/shelf/car space in order to start selling goods. Sadly, they didn't and we have this "beautiful" car space still. That way, players can customize how their cars look, or even make it like a "Car-Tile" Spot, or whatever.

For the car space, I kind of wished it was a solid color (plus new shape) design, rather than the same one as the base game car space.
